Rules regarding this are as follows;
Piano Accompaniment
If using a playback device for accompaniment;
- The device must be
- battery operated,
- supplied and operated by the user
- The Secretary must be advised, prior to the session, to obtain permission for the operator to be backstage to operate the device during the performance. The device must be removed immediately following the performance.
- The Eisteddfod Committee accepts no responsibility for any malfunctions that may occur during the performance and will not be available to assist in rectifying any problems.
- The recorded piano accompaniment must be as written in the sheet music for the song. A copy of this sheet music must be submitted as required by the designated time.
N.B. Vocal pieces may be sung in the published key or transposed to a key suitable for the voice performing.
