Instrumental Entry

1. By accepting the following Eisteddfod terms & conditions, I agree to;

(a) All rules as detailed in the Schedule and Program.

(b) This website’s privacy policy.

(c) My use of this website is at my own risk and I will hold no other parties responsible for any consequences arising from the use of this website.

2. All OneMusic Australia copyright terms & conditions (as detailed below)

Although some of the declarations may not be required for your participation, it is a condition of entry that all copyright declarations must be agreed to as follows and apply to every relevant piece of music you use;

(a) Performer’s Declaration

I certify that I will be performing:

a) From an original published edition of the sheet music; or

b) From a photocopy, transcription or arrangement of sheet music that is accompanied by a letter from the music publisher authorising the use of this photocopy, transcription or arrangement (attached to this form); or

c) From sheet music where both the work and edition are out of copyright*; or

d) By ear.

(b) If making a temporary copy for an adjudicator or examiner

I acknowledge that if I make a copy of the legal sheet music from which I will perform for use by an adjudicator or examiner; this copy will not be returned to me and will be destroyed by the eisteddfod/competition organisers and I must delete any digital copy of the sheet music I have made.**

(c) If making a temporary copy for an accompanist

I acknowledge that if I make a copy of the legal sheet music from which I will perform for the use of an accompanist; this copy will be returned to me and I must destroy it immediately, and delete any digital copy of the sheet music I have made.**

Please note that a parent/guardian/teacher may accept on behalf of performers aged 16 and under.

* Composer/lyricist/arranger ALL died before 1955 and the edition publication date was more than 25 years ago.
** Any use of copies made under this declaration outside of the performance in this specific eisteddfod/competition/examination is deemed an infringement. All copies – both digital and hardcopy – must be destroyed.

Failure to comply with all of the above may result in disqualification.
